Mark Gubernik
Mark Gubernik is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, with more than 31 years of experience in the financial planning industry. He has a special affinity for pre- and post-retirees who would like to plan for their financial security.
Mark is married to Lisa, his wife of more than 20 years, and has two girls, Melanie (21), and Amanda (17). The two girls definitely keep them busy! Melanie will be a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She's in the School of Journalism and plans to start a career in Strategic Communications upon graduation in May. She's hoping to find a job in Chicago, one of her favorite cities. Amanda will be a senior this year in high school. She maintains a very busy schedule by being Captain of the Varsity Dance Team, Vice President of her class, as well as Editor of her yearbook. Amanda will be applying to universities this fall. She claims she would prefer going to a school in a warm climate rather than her sister's cold climate in Wisconsin!
Mark plays the drums in his band M Generation. They write, produce and record original music and released their first album, This is Our Time, in October 2023. Mark loves to travel, and the family’s favorite places to visit are New York and downtown Chicago. Mark is brilliant at locating great and reasonably-priced hotels in both cities! Be sure to ask him about it.
